Sketch book editorial. gouache
I've had a few editorial ideas lately so I'm going to paint them in my sketchbook. This way I can be quick and get the ideas across and on paper and out of my mind. I was lying in bed the other night, not even thinking of anything in particular and this one appeared & amused me. Did your grandma or parents ever tell you, when hearing thunder - it was God or angels bowling? I'm sure many did and some still do. It stuck with me, I still think it every time I hear the rumblings.
I hope future olympics (if there are any) focus on the actual olympians - on their journey, passion, drive, what it takes to get where they are... being the best they feel they can possibly be & competing against like minded individuals.
