Bear in Prayer. Acrylic on Canadian Pine. 22 tall x 11 wide. Complete with a set of 6 custom magnets.
I believe in the power of prayer! I know it works. Conversing with God throughout the day - all day every day. If you are a long time follower, I can say: You know, prayer changes things.. as you have seen it work, through me. Prayer Changes things. You can worry or you can pray.. worry destroys the time we have now - pondering something that might not happen but already can cause chaos in our minds, instead fill your mind with prayer, hope, love & creation. When I paint, I pray. In this case I started with the intention to paint this bear to show my Lord, how grateful I am for Jesus, life & love.
It currently hangs in my entrance hall & is already reminding me: Look Up! Pray and create something lovely.
The tiny critters can be placed in several places and used to hold notes, photos, moments. I can confidently say, lol I have mastered hiding the magnets! Getting better with each creation. It took a bit but I was forced to figure it out early. From start to finish I say it takes about a week, it it all goes smoothly. It also has 3 pegs in the bottom (also well hidden) for keys, necklaces.. what ever. Art with Function! yay! The main function - Praise Jesus! I painted the lords prayer on this bear, you can see hints of it. Praise Jesus & love are throughout. Jesus tells us to speak to God - pray share our cares, worries, stresses with God & remember HAVE no FEAR. Living in a world where fear is pushed intentionally at us at every turn - can be challenging & why it's important to know Jesus. Studies prove - those who believe in God are healthier & happier, those who believe in The Power of Prayer- even more so!
I don't pray: don't let there be a war... or kill all these filthy oligarchy baby abusers.. albeit, I've seen many on social media ready to round up the troops to become new world order - 'bounty pedo hunters', and excited to do so. I simply, Ask God to: handle it - because it overwhelms me, it hurts my heart knowing what some do to others, to all of us. I ask God for the strength to face it, knowing I have Jesus by my side. I ask that my heart does NOT harden with hate, that removes Joy from our daily lives. I don't know what 'to do' but I can continue to paint, pray.. inspire instead of worry.
Jesus is pleased with me & that is all that matters. Jesus is excited for me to create to show appreciation for being created!

When people asked Jesus how to pray, Jesus replies to say The Lord's Prayer (traditional words to the Our Father):
Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever.
Amen.
THY WILL BE ONE LORD! Thank you for another day to witness all your glory!
Especially now that the snow is melting and I can actually see some of it again, heeheehee.
The next (TWO!) are already cut out, primed and have their base colour! I am having so much fun with it- creating art & toy - imagining tiny humans playing with it, exploring the possibilities.. beyond excited to start.
