Be Still & Know... I am God.12 x 12 Acrylic on wood.
Happy Sunday, may God open your eyes (in all ways) & continue to bring you strength, courage, hope & peace.
I enjoy these all blue creations, painting them takes as much consideration as if painting with a full colour palette.
This one took about 3 days- tiny but mighty, just like the mustard seed.
The Blue Bird of happiness: We are asked in the bible why fly with wings of a sparrow, when in fact, we have been given the wings of an eagle! We are told not to worry about things, God looks after the birds & he will look after us too.
Under the comfort of angels wings' we are protected.
The Blue Bear: Love 'Bears' ALL things. Be strong like a bear, stronger like a 'Mama Bear. Bears are mentioned in several instances throughout the Bible, including stories involving David defending his sheep from a bear (1 Samuel 17:34-37) and the account of two bears mauling children who mocked the prophet Elisha (2 Kings 2:24). Additionally, bears are used metaphorically in various verses to illustrate themes of strength and divine judgment.
The Blue Sheep: We are all the shepherds flock, Jesus will search & find and rescue us.. he will not allow one sheep to be lost. Sheep are mentioned in the Bible at least 247 times. They are often used symbolically to represent God's people and their relationship with Him. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
When the world overwhelms- as it does... sit back, be still & know= Jesus is with & within you.
When you know and remember that - you have a power that nothing else can compare to. The trick is to Be Still, in a world full of chaos, but is it? Or is that just the same show we've been forced to watcher so long, our energies , emotions intentionally drained by others- greed & war, others making all the decisions for ALL Gods children.. not for much longer. Looking out my window (yes, even with all this snow) I see & feel God in the trees, snow, silence.
Seek and you will find included beauty - SEEK it.
If the only prayer you mange to muster today is: Thank You ...that will be enough.
Enjoy this day The Lord has made.
