After learning about Cordyceps I am amazed at the level of magnificent that God created, when God created everything.
Is there no end to miracles? no... many yet to be discovered. I love words and art combined (obviously). This is one in a set of three! I have all three hanging together and they good and I'm curious as to who might know what they say.. I had to research.
Creating art for my creator. Creating art for the love of God, then me.. then family & friends.. then social media.
I was pondering Vincent Van Gogh & imagined if on social media - would he get any likes? Who knows? Only the algorithm. And there it is... the reality of the ridicule placed on artists. I've seen some incredible artists struggle, many with only a few hundred followers and hardly any 'likes' and yet the talent (NO Ai) is amazing - obviously decades of creating to get where they are'. Then you see some 'creation ', where a guy slaps a canvas with a branch and sells it for thousands and inspired many who now all have a branch smacked canvas hanging in their living room and call them selves 'artists'. I've watched someone with little art ability & lots of Ai 'prompts' & they get thousands of likes and followers.. so my bet is, Vincent would be struggling - albeit copied by countless. I'm done with social media. I've decided I'll post snippets, check out what friends are doing, check out & like real creative beings. I especially love all the clay- I'm waiting for my hands to say: today is a good day for clay. lol
Vincent created for pure pleasure of painting & expression! Me too. He created for the Creator! Did you know his sidewalk cafe painting is actually representation of Jesus & the apostles (look again) - it was also a hint of his first start night painting to yet be created! I LOVE it when a painting inspired another! As with my 3 Cordyceps. I don't care anymore after "likes", after some shit I've seen, knowing what I know. Knowing that truly talented people are often over looked on social media. Fact. There needs to be an art appreciation site for artists only - NO Ai. I see many artists feeling hopeless = don't, Ai ART is on the way OUT, wait & see. SO is AI advertising because IT all looks the same! People are getting lost in advertising realizing the UN uniqueness of promoting their business - usually after a lot has been spent on advertising'. Soon only ORIGINAL art will be sought after & cherished as it always has & should be. Have you ever looked at old hand drawn concert posters... a print of a Woodstock original art poster goes for around $2,500. How about movie posters? Of course Disney old school was the best, along with WB artists., imo. ALSO, Disney is suing Ai for stealing their ideas & art this will apply to ALL as I have not given written permission to use any of my art and you probably haven't either & Ai can search your images to see if anyone is using your images, a problem of recent years, so yes.. Ai has a few advantages. Replacing humans at the alarming rate that it is... is NOT an advantage.
So no more art posted on IG for me. Thank God - For the LIFE to create - not the LIKES.
Thank God for the talent- given to you to serve - by sharing and sparking joy, kindness & love & humour & education with your creations. Thank God if you can afford art supplies.. I can't believe how much they have increased in 5 years, drawing pads once $6. now $16. Screw that, that's greed - learn how to make your own paper! Actually I've painted on mushroom paper- that's where I'll focus. I'm also getting into recycling! Painting on objects and cardboard- there's so much clean cardboard available for free (mostly) & now that I have my electric scissors - I will explore.
One thing I saw yesterday & want to share - check out what this guy says about buying a NEW Ford truck... you might want to spend more time and money on repair than replace. The future is NOT freedom of the open roads but Now: Controlled by companies, your will own nothing and be happy about it! You better believe people will be repairing after watching this BULLSHIT> a million view in 3 days. Thank you kind sir for educating the rest before it's too late...
