Bubble Toad.. a lesson in metallic paint. Warm up. I've been practicing with my metallic paint. A trick for gouache for the paint to POP is: LET your gouache DRY or the metallic paint will absorb into the damp background. Actually, it's a problem I have - I don't wait sometimes ad this causes my gouache not to be as vibrant as I'd like.. I really need to start using a hair drier. I have one on my desk titled : Who's your daddy? I intentionally let dry over night, so I could add metallic accents today.
Did you see the new South Park?? Wow, incredible that they get away with what they do, creative and funny... I must say the ending of the show, AI at it's finest, already. What were they trying to say? The image below sums it up.

Hahaha. Pretty much, who needs words? Oh well, even the 'President' isn't safe in the world of AI or South Park.
It's a long weekend here in Canada! Yay! It was COLD this morning, my hands are uncomfortably cold.. Aug 2nd, feels like fall - Noooooooo. It will be a BUSY weekend in The Highlands, many up for the last hoorah of the summer, I was reading about drownings being high - not wearing a lifejacket the cause & impaired driving (as always) still being a prevalent problem in cottage country. I get it, I remember when we use to visit the cottage and for many - up at 8a.m. & crack a beer by 9a.m. was the vacation mind set. Not healthy for you or those around you. All things are lessons God would have us learn.. hopefully, not with your life. Stay Safe! Have fun! Enjoy this day The Lord has made.
