I didn't get my project done... I'm NOT Ai, I can't just spit out stuff in seconds, it takes time, patience & practice.
Artists.. don't worry - soon Original ART will INDEED be all the rage.
AI art will be seen for what it is, mass produced slop, stealing others ideas..
Mass produced, fake representations by robots or those with limited skills & in some cases - imagination.
Ai art sucks. BIG TIME. In numerous ways.
I think I have tried it once.. told it to create a dog painting, it came back with some poodle and a pallet all fuzzy and warm feeling.. YUK. The Ai people are using for documents, to do their taxes, write books, help with some business, I can understand it, especially related to helping with backlogs, anything to do with numbers and finding information quickly. Can we trust Ai... would you use a human to do any of the above tasks, that you could not trust? Ai has already been proven to lie, lots. Search Ai lies.. but not in Ai. hahaha it will just refuses to tell you stuff, 'they' don't want you to know. I found this out again, asking about the recent allegations against JT for viewing Child porn, while on the public clock - Ai tells me: it can't find anything on this subject. I did find lots tho, on lots of sites, not Ai, reported by humans.
I do not think it is right for Ai to use Artist work or have our permission to do so - no one asked me. Apparently, I - like the rest of the world, just assumed it would be done, as Ai progresses. Fuck that - let Ai figure out "LIFE SKILLS" on it's own, like WE have. All these "artists" who have never taken the time to actually learn a skill - like use a pencil, now taking others work, that took the artist lifetimes to achieve and "destroying it", like they are with turning characters into something THE ORIGINAL ARTIST NEVER INTENDED. Disney, is setting precedent, they are starting to send out cease & desist letters to small Ai companies & individuals.. I got one once, many moons ago - for my own baby Disney mural I did for Storm, It was that good. Good! Sure, I have reproduced Disney, by hand Disney style as a tribute to DISNEY. Entering information and having a machine create it is not art. Plastic 3D printing, is closer to creating art.... Is anyone concerned about the amount 3D printers are now contributing to plastic waste, anyone? Anyway... I saw this TOY being pushed on social media - it's a small box 'directed at children, promoted as a sticker maker, you tell it what you want and it instantly spits out a sticker- it did! The girl suggested: dinosaur reading a book and it printed a raptor in a library!
In seconds.. That TOY is a creativity killer. You just took away all the THOUGHT your child should actually be doing, you took away your kids creative mind and gave it to a box to think for them. ALSO.. I read we shouldn't be handling printed receipts for health reasons.. is this the same technology? You should find out. BTW- I commented 'this is a creativity killer' and some BOT responded, 'you're just jealous you didn't think of it..' I responded: Actually, no I enjoy using my brain and jealousy is not the correct term - jealousy applies to people, not objects. I think you meant 'envious' and no, I'm not.
One of my favourite lessons when I taught cartooning (& the kids liked it too) was when I said: Draw a Bad Guy!
What would they do? You try.. The results were always the same - a character with a frowning face & a weapon in their hand. A sword, gun & club were the favourites. I would then say - well that's o.k. but that's BORING. Anyone can draw a character, stick a gun in it's hand and we think- bad person (usually), then I would suggest creativity is telling people who the person is without the obvious and say lets really THINK about all the details - NO weapons allowed- and still successfully draw a 'bad guy' - stereotypical cartoonist style. Suddenly, I would get suggestions like: add a scruffy beard! Scars! Draw stitches! Draw tattoos! Put a spiky collar on him! Put torn clothing, make his hands fists, put steam coming out his ears, make his pet a rat on a leash! THAT is what kids do! They come up with all sorts of creative, silly, funny suggestions IF YOU LET THEM. Don't let a box do it for them.
How sad is the factory workers video on social media circulation - all wearing Ai head pieces that watches every move they make, all to TRAIN robots to replace them in a few months, weeks, days. Fucked up. & they can't just quit.. where are they going to go? Is Ai being recognized for what it is? A drain to the system? A creativity killer? Water hog destroying entire communities?
Many are becoming aware rather quickly about the alarming amount of water Ai is using and it is destroying communities (around the world) I sure hope Doug or carnage aren't making any back door deals to put them in your or my neighbourhood anytime soon! Watch - they are starting to accumulate - endless centres causing chaos on towns, turning property into useless lots with no water... HUGE AMOUNTS. Learn before it's too late.
