Above- so.. I'm comparing word for word, the KJV and the Ethiopian bible - why you might ask? It's FASCINATING!
Mostly - it is word for word.. but occasionally one is changed up and - it's significant words. What journey - my bible journey has been. First we read it - out of obligation (usually as kids) and really- what kid reads it seriously? No doubts SOME but probably very few. I don't know about other cultures.
Then I myself started reading it again with the knowledge it was written by men' , and truthfully I might have read it with 'attitude'.. Phhhhbt... men. Popes - ended removed parts of the bible they don't want us aware of, like the fact Jesus tells us - we don't need a religion - or church' to worship or know Jesus or God.. it's in each of us. Then I read (a suggestion form someone) the actual making of the bible -history - wow. Ive read how we've been manipulated, lied to and the bible used to condemn and control -if you let it. IF you don't read it, you won't know... the bible is our best self help book available. Always was & always will be. When I finally read it again to read it, study and be curious by it- it became a passion... one I can get enough of. I have several bibles now, my favourite collection'. My goal - dream is for a old BIG bible that they use to have in churches with illustrations for all to view- they cost millions. That Soccer viking - that even has my attention lol - just bought a book to donate so all Norway can read it. No wonder he has everyones attention -a beast with a heart & brains, it appears.
A sign/show of faith that has concerned me the past few days; I watched the funeral in Israel for whom ever Trump just apparently 'took out'. You want to SEE 'FAITH', go watch hundreds of thousands ALL dressed in black, (bigger than any protest Ive seen) mourn and carry a coffin through the streets - more than I've ever seen for any Canadian or American "leader" - while at the same time chanting Trumps death. Yikes. It doesn't take long to realize this' has escalated. They are also promising not one American solider will be left alive to return home. The Faith those people display is POWERFUL, I have not been able to get the image out of my head. I know the power of prayer. Faith is nothing to fool around with, not anyones. These people have lived daily for centuries 'praying' in cultures, known for believing & beheading... for Faith. Fact. I doubt there's any turning back at this point. I pray we figure it out without the loss of MORE - more fighting wars they did not start, for money they will never see, by governments PROVEN not to care about veterans as much as they do profits.
Artists - you were created to create! The bible tells us so - God tells us- the Spirit of GOD was put IN US! To help us create like the creator! Especially when designing the Ark & tabernacle for the Lord. Gods favourite wood is Acacia. Did you know - it's the hardest of hard woods & weather resistant. I want a little alter made for m Jesus and Mary statue, I've asked Norm to make it with acacia wood. The KJV bible states... to use workmen or skilled designers', when creating the Ark, the Ethiopian bible states...craftsmen in all the work and artistic designers'. Exodus 35.35. Just words'... never.
Our creator wants us to CREATE! We ALL have the spirit of god placed in us- the spirit of creativity.
We have Jesus in us all... Have faith - if you don't others certainly DO! Read your bible , while you can... absolutely the best book(s) I have ever read.

Today - I will ponder what. I'll ask Jesus for guidance.
