This loon took longer than anticipated - I had a Loon actually calling in the a.m. remind me to get it done' & heard it again - just as I was finishing - Want to hear a loon: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nG3OYRRpaa4 it's very distinct! The blue just pops! Is it sunrise or sunset? I'm not sure - it's what ever you think it is, art is to be explored and enjoyed.
The Loon has the most important message to share with us - LOVE. Love - it's that simple. That red eye is watching you.
I have not painted an Oar for a while and have no more oar.. back to The Haliburton Paddle Shop I go! It's a fun canvas', perfect for cottage country. I'm keeping this one, I'll hang it right above in the small space above the door. It's interesting art because of it's shape and not something you expect to see'. Since it's long and small I wanted to keep it simple with focus on the loon & sky. I enjoyed that! My desk got extra messy for some reason, time to clean and plan the next project - created to create!
