What a perfect morning - clear beautiful blue skies- not a plane streak to be seen... yet.
It has been the best day of the summer thus far. Thank you Lord. Not including world news. Anyway..
On Friday while sitting for dinner Norm turns and asked me : Do you know what day it is?
I replied: Friday.
He then informed us, 6 years I've been here! & 34 years married. Same date. I forgot both. lol
That's a good thing- I don't want 'gifts' - I want to be treated properly. 34 years, with gratitude instead of grumpy- hahah Says every woman married over 30 years (or less)... Anyway.
Wow, 34 years with this same human. I don't even know.. if divorce was easy, we just might be.
As it is.. we are not. I just said to Storm last week - "if your dad didn't show remorse and try to make up for the crap..." he'd be gone. So, there's that. He's also a hard worker. I get mad for him rarely taking time off.
He also is very ... engine smart' & I have considered myself fortunate for his abilities to fix & build anything & everything, so where many of our friends & family over the years who's items he often repaired or built, at my suggestion.
So, you do.. you forgive the stuff that is forgivable. So today, we are still... lol. 34 years & 2 days.. so far so good.
No one knows what tomorrow holds! All we can do is live one day at a time & thank the Lord for it.
In every way. The more I see of the world currently - the more I give thanks! 6 years, and the first - more or less on my own. I have loved every second, we all have. With God you can do all things! 34 YEARS.
Including move - when everyone else says' you better stay. You are not a tree. move.
I can't hug every tree.. but they all know - I want to.
God knows how grateful I Am to be here, closer to Jesus, my forest walking buddy.
My everywhere walking buddy.
34 years... Norm has never been a womanizer (probably because he fears for his life - lol), never a drinker', never calls in sick' ever... and does not physically beat me - albeit in 34 years the thought has crossed both our minds, no doubts.
Soul mates.. are not about fun, sex, happy joy joy - your true soulmate is here to test you, to help you reach that next level, faster. Good and bad & I can't deny - nor does he- creatively' we make a great team. We created Storm. heeheehee.
I absolutely believe that, soul mates struggle'... Norm has give me a Turbo boost, to the next level. Funny not funny.
Eventually, see all things for Good, because they usually are. God wants Good for us ALL.
