Just a dapper cat painted for a dapper gentleman (his cat), who wears a similar hat. 5 x 7
Animals in clothing! What is it about them that makes them so darn cute? This was painted to brighten someones day. What can you do, to brighten someones day?
Do it.
We ventured out the other day & the fall leaves are amazing! The refections on the lakes - captivating. I could sit and stare for hours. It's so lovely to take a drive and see such beauty, everywhere. We also saw deer just strolling through Haliburton, no matter how many times I see them - it excites me, they appear calm but I bet they could cause some serious pain, people should not approach or encourage. I just read a story of over 100 raccoons showing up because the women fed them for 35 years, yikes. I don't feed the birds as much because they don't need it, they should be learning about berries and stuff... we don't encourage raccoons, or leave out go food, they make a mess of garbage too...and why we do, pick up dog pooh. I never see deer on the lawn, the dogs have frightened them away.
The Studio tour is on again this weekend! Perfect for those visiting to check out the fall & beautiful art & studios. Storm was teasing me about 'my tiny studio', people would have to see it through the window as it's too small for visitors - just another example size does not matter - as long as you continue to be creative! Studio tours are a lot of work so if you can purchase something - do! Usually artists have small items as well as larger paintings/pieces, something for every budget, a great weekend to get Christmas shopping done!
Check out this cheeky wee bird that had no fear of me, at all.
Fear Not says the Lord! Enjoy this day and all Gods Gifts - especially tiny birds with big attitudes.
