3 Little Pigs, a little golden recreation. Georgia Toons style. 8 x 10 acrylic on wood.

Where do I get my ideas?  Everywhere.  This painting was inspired when I opened a drawer and saw the Little Golden Book, sadly a bit worse for wear from dampness over the winter. I flipped through it and smiled, fond memories.. I loved these books! I waiting anxiously for each new one, I wish I still had them.

I painted it weathered' with real gold leaf on the side.  3 very happy little pigs! Happy because psychedelics are finally getting the recognition they deserve - for helping people cope & even heal, unlike alcohol that knocks people out and causes pain (hangovers, stupidity, accidents, regretful decisions..) & addiction. The first little LSD piggy, a pleasant, relaxing, refreshing experience said to lift moods and spur creativity, I know a few who enjoy often.  I did it only once, the visuals were outstanding, the feelings of love were powerful and I slept fantastic - not something I've been seeking since. Cannabis - absolutely!  I am living proof, ask my pharmacist, he rarely sees me. I paint daily thank God and take very little medication, even less often as in a anti-inflammatory because I smoke cannabis with a small (easy to clean) bong & I doubt I smoke the equivalent of 3 joints a day.. some days 3 puffs is enough and many days I forget completely. The days that are dry and sunny I take nothing but sunshine & water & food... I still experience pain but that's part of life and it can be overlooked, a learned trait.

The last piggy is the happiest with her little basket of mushrooms, I painted an  amanita muscaria because it's fun in appearance and went perfect with these piggies but I personally don't recommend  it,  albeit I have read some do use it for the 'experience'.  I am very grateful for psilocybin, mostly because they have helped me  with difficult relationships... they put me in a position where I think about events (past & present) situations differently, see things from another perspective. Knowing what I do now, I wish I had tried psilocybin when younger, a boyfriend offered to take me to a "mushroom pizza party" in my early 20's  but I declined - I was brainwashed, then.   Psilocybin brings out the best in me.. JESUS.
They bring out the Jesus in me.  Talk about a marketing promotion.  lol. They help me be, better.
As for my TN, they help me cope, keep going and see the bigger picture. The Adventure of Life!  I can't force anyone - and trust me,  there are a few I do believe would benefit from psilocybin.  I can show you, by continuing to paint & create for the Creator. This Little Golden book is JOYFUL & theres a secret on the back, another painting but I'm keeping it a secret.. only live views' will see it.  I just did the same with a bee painting and it made Storm smile when I flipped it, even though he tried not to.  A perfect Bee painting for a nursery.

I found a site that was joyful, bringing back fond memories of when I was young.  Cell phones have destroyed being a kid.  Kids born now will NEVER experience what my generation & those before us did - fun & freedom, friends, playing outside - snow & sun.. going to the pictures, riding bikes until it got dark.. & talking on the telephone for hours with the extra long cord that reached your room.  Now they look at screens & compare constantly, anxiety & depression are skyrocketing in kids, teens & adults.  For some reason I was thinking of the talking police car that use to visit us in elementary school & Elmer! I did a search and this site pleasantly appeared:  Retro Ontario https://retrontario.com  Elmer The Safety elephant, the first mascot I hugged.  lol. T.V shows from the 70's - Saturday morning fun! It was a nice trip down memory lane. It also has me pondering painting some old school art.. Like Mr. Dress up, The friendly Giant, Commander Tom, Uncle Bobby - Polkaroo too!!! Perhaps.

Ending with great news, you know- the kind our Gov. media outlets don't share: Toronto public health backs down! 30,000 students will NOT be suspended over vaccine records. I guess so.. homeschooling must be on the rise in Canada - it is in the USA.  ALSO: Air Canada must compensate pilots fired for refusing to take the COVID Jab! Boy I bet many people are kicking themselves in the ass. I don't lose sleep over the shot, I never got... I do occasionally lose sleep over all I know, that did.

Have you read this months Druthers? I'm grateful they do share these HUGE victories, we might never know there truth otherwise.. not if left to our current government - that goes to GREAT lengths to cover up - everything... Doug Ford's proposed changes to freedom of information laws will exempt senior government officials, including himself, from public access to their documents and communications. This has raised concerns about transparency and accountability in government decisions.  Lastly, I AM thrilled the families of the recent BC shooter are suing Open Ai &  Sam Altman.  His sister is also suing him for sexually abusing her as a child, for years.  They WILL win, not that will ever heal the wounds, pain and suffering & permanent loss... but it should absolutely be acknowledged: Ai KNEW & Ai did not help humanity.  Did you know, Sam Altman has signed up for a procedure by Nectome that aims to preserve his brain in microscopic detail, which is described as 100% lethal but could potentially allow his consciousness to be uploaded into a computer in the future. The process involves a high-tech embalming method that is currently not yet feasible for full brain preservation and revival.   Deus Vult.

Today on the desk: I made a little flower vase from clay! Talk about positive thinking!  In anticipation for all the blooms yet to BLOOM! Hey, it's saffron season! lol I get about 33 tiny strand a year, did you know it's worth it's weight in gold?  Good luck becoming a saffron farmer - lots of work and little time to pick the produce.

Enjoy this Day The Lord has made!
