One more thing about last year, before we continue forward... if last year didn't have you questioning our inevitable end, I don't know what will. Watching fires, floods, turbo cancers, threats of war& constant control, nuclear war & digital ID, public shootings & deadly 'drive overs', major increase in immigrants & depression & suicides (especially with our youth) due to social media & Ai, exposed corruption, child trafficking & rising tensions around the world & Ai --- can cause some to ponder passing, of course.
I thought IF this was my last year, what would I like to teach?
Since we all teach, all the time (ACIM). I want to teach about Jesus.
Jesus, is who has me here today.
I choose to go with God, knowing it's not always the easiest path.
With time, over 10 years LIVING with TN, as anyone can see & read on this journey, I have prayed to end the pain a few times; good thing God doesn't always listen to us. Only by learning to live with it, painting to get past it, never giving up but giving thanks daily to God, for the simple act of being able to paint, to afford paint.. having the luxury of TIME to paint - all because I LISTENED to God. When God says: Jump! I ask: How high!!?
With Trusting in God you can overcome everything.
Ironically, the most difficult part of painting these was holding them, lol. I am amazed that I can paint some days, between dropping art & my brush - thank you Lord for granting me patience & perseverance. Thank goodness they are chunky! When not on the painted background, I now also have 10 very cool fridge magnets. They are below, in order from top to bottom, starting with the Dove. The Dove also has real Gold leaf for it's halo', I hope to experiment with it more in the future, it looks fabulous! On the back of each mini masterpiece is a passage # where you can read about the significance of the subject.
The Dove, for example has on the back: Luke 3:22
22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him,
and a voice came from heaven, which said,
Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased.
Search... for something in The Holy Bible and you will probably find it!
I'll be pointing out some cool fact this year. Food in the bible, Creatures, dragons, devils, strange stuff too - it's there!
If I can encourage ONE person to pick up and read a bible - wow- my mission for 2026 will be accomplished! I'm going to try my best. Below I have included each passage number- I hope you get curious enough to see what they mean. .. look them up to understand the context.
