PictureMy office window;-)
Winter. YUK. Other than the snowflakes, snowmen, trees covered in snow - you know the beautiful snow! I do not like winter. The cold,  white - soon GREYness of it all gets to me Big time and a million others.  I am determined this year to NOT let it get to me.
Initially I had this idea years ago - we had a neighbor that enjoyed living in his underwear, that would had been fine if he was Brad Pitt but he was not.  So I often had my kitchen windows closed - all the time. I then put up the frosting to cover the lower par of the windows but still allowed light!  I had the idea again in my office I like light and in the evening I forget to close the blind- it also clutters my plants and stuff - I did the lower part of the windows so the blind can stay up. No one can see in and the frosting actually looks really pretty. I can still see out the top  Finally to my painting room! One side so I can still look out the window while painting  snow or no. Well I had the idea to cut out the leaves and wow! That looks cool! So I wanted to share:

I started thinking - this is a great idea for the hard to find blind (shape) because they can be very expensive! Great idea for a kids room and cut out butterflies or stars and moons!
The possibilities are endless I'm going now to do my front hall  skinny window with some leaves and fancy scroll work... well that is what's in my head anyhow.
My hubby picked up the contact paper at walmart for me - under $10. If you get an air bubble - and you will! You can cut a little line in it and push out the air.  My window has airbubbles - you can't tell really and when I cut 'out' the leaves that is all you notice!  I think this would look terrific at a compassion club - frost the bottom 1/2 and then cut out ton's of leaves! For me - when spring arrives and there are buds on the tree's, green grass once again I shall peel away my frosting! Then again .. perhaps not I like it! So did my guys.
Back to work ! - Never! ;-) xox <><

I'm excited! My new craft feature should be out in magazines soon!  I LOVE to craft and with sites on the internet now - I have a hard time keeping up with all the things I want to make! I am trying to focus on FUN, fresh and affordable!
This one was pretty much - FREE!
What to do with all those T-shirts- some a little too manly for me - there are all sorts of things you can do and below is just one idea! Easy and fast I can't wait to see all the home made bags at the next expo!
I might even have a craft demo!!! ;-)
May 24 weekend*2013 at the Metro TO convention centre!  I'm already excited.
Thank you to the compassion club http://section56.ca/
*for the T-shirt donation - even after I told him I was going to cut it up! LOL

I love crafts! I do them all the time and with places like Pin - the ideas  are flowing. I use to have a studio and taught crafts to kids for years and I miss it - so, I thought: Hey ! You have people who enjoy your drawing lessons - do a few craft lessons!  So this is it my first! One a month! Key word 'Let's get crafty'!
I keep in mind cost! I want  my crafts to be fun and affordable and once you do it - if you decide to take it up a knotch - that's up to you.
There is no limit to what your heart considers art.
JUST do it- there is no such thing as perfection. Let go, have fun and express yourself with art!  This is my first idea- I am hoping to get a few magazines on board - it's not always about the bowl and the bong - it's about what Cannabis does for relaxing and being creative.  Please send me your photos if you get crafty!
