I wanted to make a little hand-out for kids that might come to the EXPO, and for kids in general. A conversation starter. There have been several children over the years.
One page. Something to color with the added bonus of a few folds and a simple cut and you make a cute little book. Saw it on PIN. I drew this today and have since asked FB friends their opinion of what should be in a book. I have a few new ideas and hope to try to keep making these pages and keep them circulating!
Every page is an opportunity to talk to your children about Cannabis and making healthy choices in general! Please feel free to copy and print it out I have also added photos that show you where to cut and how to fold below the coloring sheet ;-)!!
Print out a few and plant the seed of TRUTH in young minds & you plant the seeds of curiosity, understanding and compassion as well! Have fun! XOX
I hope it works I will ask a friend tomorrow how to load it so you can download it as a coloring sheet.
Free & Easy!
Pallets - you can get them everywhere! Behind most big businesses, hardware stores, gardening stores, factory warehouses - all waiting to be tossed in the trash. My hubby use to pick them up; as then burn great for an outdoor fire pit.
Now I have seen the wonderful creations popping up all over and why not! REuse!
You can be as busy or as simple as you want!
I love seeing the pallets as head boards and it is on my list of things to do.
I love the rustic look. I'm already planning on placing lights behind mine...
Valentines day is about LOVE. Not money.
One of the sweetest things my husband ever did was spray paint a giant red heart in the snow on the front lawn, we had no money for gifts so he got creative! I thought it was very sweet that morning when I opened the drapes. I remember it most. I have forgotten the 'stuff'. So get creative! SHOW your love!
*Thank you to my son and best friend Cathy who came over and assisted me with this craft, still recovering from surgery - I could not have put the pallets together myself. Cathy was mostly for the company! My pallet will be displayed in the garden this spring! I will be reminded of those who love me & I will also remember what seeds I want to plant!
...Besides Cannabis ;-)

It's time to get Crafty! I made this little night light and can't wait to share! So easy and cheap, I know people will make them to add just a little warm glow to their lives ;-) I love Sea urchins - such beauty! Natures art for all to be amazed!
Mine is already gone - a gift, but you can believe I'll be making more! Enjoy!
Have a Creative day!!!
I love these little hearts and leaves- the photos do not do them justice. They hang in my studio window and gently turn in the breeze. With the different 'shades' it makes it look like beautiful stained glass. I think I'm going to do it again only next time all different colors and I'm going to cut out tons of butterfly shapes and drape them across the window to give the appearance for flying!
This craft is VERY easy and fairly safe, other than cutting the crayons and hot iron it is easily adaptable to do with children too! I had a couple of 'leaves' left over I put one in an envelope and mailed to a friend for her window ;-) and just stuck the other to my window with a bit of glue stick. Be creative! have fun and most importantly - Enjoy the sunshine!

I got the idea from PIN .
I ❤ PIN - very inspiring.
Feel free to PIN anything from my site!
These Canvas's cost pennies to make! Once finished they can make quite an impact!
What better way to express your feeling with words. IF you don't feel like painting - you could follow the first few steps and then collage real leaves on the canvas- It of course does not have to be about cannabis. How cute to do a canvas covered in dog quotes, jokes and saying and then add a silhouette of your favorite canine pal! As with all art the ideas are endless. Have fun medicate and create- do what brings you peace! ☮♥☯
Here is a FAST easy craft! I am thrilled to say my crafts appear to be a success! Now in 3 magazines as a regular feature!!! I can not thank the magazines enough- I really believe this is just one more way to bring Cannabis into our everyday lives. To be seen as the beautiful plant that it is and not some 'evil, deadly DRUG' that we have been led to believe! The more it is seen the more it will be recognized and if someone is just curious enough to research - then the seed is planted. Once researched - you can't deny.. lots of lies.
This craft can of course be used so many ways! Cut out your initials, make simple designs. For the cost of this craft - under $3. have have fun! The more you make the better and easier it gets. I would NOT ADVISE little ones to do this craft - but there is no reason they cannot draw on the eraser and an adult cut out! ;-)
Time for a little T- alteration! I have so many tops with little blops of paint on them, I often add or bleach or tye dye to hide or repair. Being an artist it comes with the territory so I alter rather than toss!
Thank you to
ReLeaf magazine for being the 2nd to carry the craft features! I have already had positive feed back on the Halloween craft, confirming it's time! Time to get Cannabis where it should be- accepted as a normal part of life for millions around the world. Recognized as a medicine - like so many others only this one is less toxic and won't kill you. Out in the open. NOTHING to be ashamed of!
Cannabis is our medicine! Thank God!
Have fun! Make your own T-shirt and then wear it LOUD and PROUD!
This is an easy craft and if you have a few T shirts! Go crazy! All it takes are a few items and an idea! How nice also to wear your own art instead of someone else's. I had someone suggest to try this craft with real leaves as well - I guess you could! It is also a great craft to do with little ones. They can tape a shirt - no pattern needed - let them go abstract! Then stand back and spray! (Always use caution when crafting with little ones! ) Remember to spray at MIST setting and lightly - you can always go back and spray some more. When I first tried I had too much bleach and ended up with holy mess after it was all done! It also was a bit lighter after it was washed. For an even softer look add more water to less bleach. The only other key of importance is rub on your tape! The harder you rub the edges the stronger it will be with less bleeding when you remove the tape! Make sure it is DRY before you remove the tape!! As you can see (below) Tequila kept me humble and told me she much preferred my T as a place to rest her furry butt...
I had so much fun the night before I had to do it all over again! I had 2 pals come up and visit me from the city Marie & Aline, and normally we just sit and chat because they are not artists.. but I thought - forget that! EVERYone is an artist!
Everyone has the desire to create!
So I was ready! Hee hee hee, as you can see from the results above! We made stuff! LOL It is not about skill it is about the act of creating, talking and making something. To make all the crafts above would cost you less than 20$
Maybe even less if you already have a few wine glasses and mason jars around! And once you have the initial craft supplies - all you need is a surface to paint!
Nothing is safe in my home. In the past I have painted: Window blinds, appliances, shoes, leather jackets, garbage bins, plates, wood, paper, canvas, trees, fences, props, glasses, clay even People and pets! Scruffy was once a easter egg for halloween blue with yellow dots. (Food coloring ;-)) I love to paint, craft but I love to DRAW more, the thing is with crafting you don't need to draw.
Marie and Aline had fun yesterday and so did I! How do I know they had fun? LOOK at the crafts! Poor Aline's kitty-lol will be brushed to make a fur top for her jar! These two friends do use cannabis medically. So there was that happening too in the room.
The day before -out of courtesy for my non-smoking friends I left the room, - in my own home, because I have respect from my friends. They don't smoke and I never smoked cigarettes so I can relate. I am very much an anti tobacco smoker. If I had a boyfriend who smoked -he quit or I dumped him - I also knew when he was ready to dump me - if he started to smoke again! hahaha!
It was a fun day again with laughter, good conversation and ideas to be had! Marie is also my assistant and friend so we had some EXPO talk too!
What have you got to do today?
At some point when you think of turning on that weapon os mass distraction - the T.V. - think again and craft! Stimulate your brain! xox <><
