When I draw for someone I ask them questions. It was a heart breaking reality for me when reminded that Alex does not and has not communicated since little.  Alex is completely non-verbal.
Dad told me they call him 'Alexander Salamander'! That's enough.
;-) Boys, toads, bugs, all I wanted to draw was happy, at the same time keeping the mood very boy. ;-) What an awesome little boy he is . That photo - wow ❤ look at that smile!!!
*and promise me you will watch the link below.

I have known about Alex for a while - I have already talked about him in a blog.
I am so thrilled that Axel is finally getting some media attention.

Imagine how frustrated you are that you can not use cannabis - recreationally because you want to enjoy and relax- I see nothing wrong with it. But...
O.k. Now imagine that your child is seriously ill and Cannabis eases his/her pain and
they can not use it medically. Imagine that level of frustration.
 YOU can't.

This is Alex ❤:

I am really getting tired of hearing a Dr. say that "the long term use..."
Look around. There is already a lot of long term use proof. Centuries of it.
Do they forget the long term use of Prescribed medications!? I  looked into that when I thought that my son was going to live a life on pain killers &  Morphine from the age of 4. The long term use of  all of the medications I was looking at was pretty much the same-  and to be honest with you - I'm not going there

Cannabis - Thank God is Storm's medicine and  thank God for Alex too, who looks like he is at PEACE when medicated! Imagine how his parents feel to watch him, see the difference and then -know they have to stress over political bullshit! I won't even pretend to imagine what they deal with.  All I can do is draw and pray for their continued strength, send good vibes!!
They live with this heart ache of watching Alex suffer as it is.
I really think these decisions should be strictly between a Dr. and patient and parent.
The final call parent.

Because no one will live our lives for us.
Unless you suffer from the disease you will never completely understand the symptoms.

Cannabis is the safer alternative- but you now what, don't believe me,
Please - PROVE me wrong.

PLEASE visit Alex's parents facebook page & show them & ALEX some support!

- If we only all started to really support each other .. do what ever it if you can't draw then say HELLO and we are thinking of you!! Anything - Strengh in numbers.

I have said it before.
Walk in my shoes, learn what we have learned about Pharmacetuical drugs and then tell me you would not give your child Cannabis under the same circumstance!
Watch this link and tell me this mother or father is wrong
- LISTEN to the DR.  then .. imagine it is your child.

I am so tired of hearing this argument.
WE live it. WE see it's miracle and  I <3 these parents!
SHARE - teach! Sooner or later Dr.s will have to agree.
AS PARENTS we must demand what is best for our children. ASK them - what would they do if it was their child?
The next time someone says - but there are medications for nausea - yes there are and while you are at it - LOOK up the side effects!!  Dr.s have no problem prescribing  drugs to children - but have issues with a PLANT? *  That has never caused OVERDOSE or DEATH.
WHAT parent in their right mind would give their children an opiate that they can become addicted to or even die from?  I'd rther watch my child laugh and happy than be a zombie on the sofa- TRUST me - I saw him for far too long sit and suffer and not play because he was in pain. UNTIL he tried cannabis.
TALK to your Dr.
The choice is Clear- Cannabis!!!
I feel great about this news! Can you tell?  I drew this cartoon last week in bed and finally felt good enough to paint it today ;-))) - so Thank You God!  xox <><

* Note: Not all Dr.s I have been blessed with the best. ♥ .
Talk to your Dr. Help educate them.
They are ONLY human. <super smart but still human ;-)

Ignorance is bliss... It was until I started to research all this Cannabis stuff!  I then was turned onto GMO information and documentaries on STUFF.  Cannabis is STILL illegal even after  centuries of  '0' reported deaths, proven medicinal qualities and numerous (MILLIONS) of first hand accounts from the PEOPLE on how it HELPS.  There is a growing (no punn intended) concern regarding GMO's from Salmon to tomatoes (GREAT DOC - WATCH FREE CLICK HERE)  -who will say what the long term affect of GMO's will be - a rise in cancer? That is what is expected ... EXPECTED!?  Don't believe me research it for yourself. I DARE YOU!  Yes because ignorance is bliss.
Too  many would rather turn on the tube and be amused - worse - possibly educated by the countless mind melting reality T.V.;  NOT a REALITY of mine!! Thank God. Sadly in many cases children copy parents and we will have a new generation of mind melted drones - who will not have a clue what to do when they really NEED to. . they will eat all this crap and die at an earlier age - Oh wait! That is happening NOW!
For the first time in history children are dying at a  earlier age with  diabetes and obesity & childhood cancers on the rise. Passing before their parents. ;-(
Do you know that the average very successful and intelligent person watches very LITTLE   T.V. ? And they for sure do not spend the day on Face book. Distraction.
Like or not - we all all being distracted and sooner or later it will hit home.  In India they have tried to patent seeds - so that you can only ever get seeds if you have money! SEEDS!!
Should you plant a seed from a vegetable that is patent - you will be fined. Charged.
We here say - well just go to the grocery store- in India - they say -  we will starve. That could be our future should we CONTINUE to lose control of our rights as humans.
When I was thinking of this toon I was going to have a animal say the comment on the end because the reality might not be appreciated, the next morning - before I started to draw  - on FB someone posted a starving man and my mind was made up. No cute gopher.
TOO BAD if some find it harsh.  It is reality and I will not be a part of ignoring it.
I pray I can be a part of changing it.
WHEN will you TURN off the T.V and TUNE into LIFE and the serious issues surrounding all of us? When you are starving?
This is starvation. If you are interested. I found it by accident just now and thanked God I drew my cartoon. http://knowmorethanyouretold.blogspot.ca/  I was blown away - over a year ago someone sent me an image that changed my life.  I will warn you I NEVER got it out of my head, the same image and the same comment are at the bottom of that page.  It took me a while. But I thank God for seeing that image.
I was blind but now I see and I will make a difference.
No one should suffer like that let alone innocent children. Imagine being that mother.  I Am BLESSED!!!    PAY ATTENTION!  Please.

Oh BTH I have never seen the Kardashiens (really don't know how to spell it) from the rare posts and news bits that I have witnessed - It is a very sad sign that these people are being idolized.  I feel sorry for them and us.

Wow - when it rains it pours! GREAT stuff!!  Today my baby gets his first vehicle that he is purchasing on his own!  WOW - He drove my car to the end - the past year we had to have it towed a few times and Storm is also looking for a little more comfort and we safety ;-) I am SO proud of him ( both of us are) He works very hard and saves his money and today he will drive home his new wheels and drive his mom to the EXPO in comfort and style! LOL I can't wait till he brings it home. * note car for sale- great clunker  for getting around, also great starter car for new kid driver. DOES not go very fast hee hee hee.
In just 3 more days I'll be setting up for the EXPO! I'm as ready as I will ever be! My sherpa (below) in the garage making boxes for the originals, LB is painted and ready to take photos! The Happy Hippie is ready to GO!  I AM SO EXCITED and I'm feeling GREAT!
My botox seems to be at it's prime and I have to thank the Dr.  he is mastering where the injections go and I am NOT in as much pain! :-) YEAH! Any that I am, is quickly  helped with Cannabis!!   I am SO READY!
We did open the pool on the weekend and Daisy LOVES it! All Storm had to do was whistle and she was in - right over to him and would stay in the pool as long as he did.  Some photos below I have to go and do some last minute painting!!! <>< XOX

I will say that I will be happy when the EXPO is over so I might resume cartooning - the ideas are backlogged in my brain - Not much room in there these days ;-)

I believe this is one of life secrets - share your gift! Everyone has something they can share- everyone. It might not be what you think it is, not everyone can draw or sing but some bake, clean (trust me I believe that to be a talent), proof read, fish, frame, knit, sew, play the harmonica, organize.. there are so many talents. The key is to share. What good is anything if it is not appreciated or enjoyed or admired even. To share your TALENT is a gift to everyone else.

I met through facebook a very nice guy named Steve, we have actually been in touch for a while but I finally just drew his cover for his newest CD.  He asked me a while ago and at first I said o.k. then I declined.  I declined because I had a few things going on and was in a slump... he waited, then I tried to turn him on to another artist friend - he declined, he said ‘he liked my vintage style.’ ;-)

I stalled some more... he persisted.  Do you know what it was? I was nervous. Perhaps a little intimidated by his talent.

I listened to his music - which I was extremely impressed with, his words and thoughts - intelligent and well put. His understanding & appreciation of this beautiful PLANT obvious. We think the same. What I draw I feel he sings. His words inspired me.  A few other things inspired me - he seems to be a hard worker, several things on the go- you can tell he is someone that believes - in himself.  Look within. Believe. He clearly is not where he is at from sitting on the sofa getting high all day!!  WAKE up ‘stoners’. Life is work.  One of the things that impressed me most about Steve were his photos of Facebook.  I look at everyones who requests friends profiles.  I saw a great dad - in a tutu If I recall correctly.. A little princess.  I saw not a ‘rock star’ but a person who I believe cares about what he is doing.  Passionate about what he is singing, saying. Rapping? LOL  You know what I mean.  It is clearly paying off Steve is on the rise. He was just featured in this months High Times magazine and is being talked about all over. Like anything =  research it for yourself check out Steve’s links.  When he finally asked again - I sat down and drew. He LOVED it.  He made my day, I am very proud to be the artist for one Steves C.D.s. I am grateful he bugged me &  believed in me.  Steve Caprio on FB his web site:    http://www.ominouswords.net/
CD  Blunts for Breakfast.
Sharing his talent. ;-)))
