The way I see it is people are becoming educated with facts and real life experience. Hard to tell someone in College 'reefer madness' -Marijuana will fry your brains! - When professionals/parents & presidents admit to it. Science is showing Cannabis and how it eases chronic pain and helps with numerous other diseases. IT is much safer than Alcohol and less addictive or harmful than numerous other 'intoxicants' legal or illegal. The  NOW generation is far from stupid.
I see Cannabis trials turning into compassion trials.
Changes &  Challenges being made daily.
This Plant is not going away and I will tell you as a parent I would not be ashamed if my young adult told me of their use with cannabis - I'd much rather that then alcohol or chemicals.  I would be proud that they came to an educated decision.  Education is changing minds and bringing awareness.  Generations are seeing how it is helping older and younger patients alike.  If someone you love is using cannabis - put the negative stigma aside and thank God they have a safe option for helping ease their pain. That is all that should matter - ever.

It always amazes me to read about Cannabis and Dr.s.   You see  Dr.s over the years have supported Cannabis and Cannabis research.  Years ago it was prescribed by Dr.s  for everything from Colic to cramps. When the U.S government 'took it off shelves' to say - Dr.s did not agree and were often public about it.  I just read once again The American Medical Association and the The American College of Physicians and the  American Public Health Association and the American Nurses Association  are strong supporters for Medical Cannabis and want research encouraged.
They know people who suffer and cannabis helps, I read about it all the time, Dr.s who get Cannabis for their family members.  Some just to make the end of life more enjoyable & pain free (controlled).
So time and time again - I wonder - then why not stand up for what is right? Why are we letting those who are motivated by money and lies continue to stop the human race from doing what we believe is best for our own lives. It is NOT about getting high - trust me - I know many medical patients and they wish they could get 'high' most just are able to function. So since this war on Drugs is the failure that it is, the lies about cannabis hard to further contain... speak up. Remind your Dr.s about the facts.  Share the opinions of their peers on Cannabis research and medical value.  Perhaps they just don't know.  Either way it's time. Time to let those who truly want to help us - do just that. Leave the police to deal with CRIMINALS and the politicians to - what ever it is they 'claim' to do.
*Note- I am a Canadian. I am reading an American book about Cannabis (and enjoying)
My cartoons can "sadly" easily have different words replaced  the Canadian Medical Association - (but we already do recognize Cannabis and it's medicinal value) or replace the DEA with the Mounties and our own FAT CAT - S.H.     The facts are - we are all fighting this insane battle.  ALL OVER the world.
                                                               How  many are we?
Educate your Dr.s, Educate your kids, parents, friends and family.
Plant the seed ;-)

Many times, several times a day something happens and a toon is triggered. Not everyone will find them funny. Not all cartoons are funny. This one made me smile.  I got it. Staring into space is peace. Especially if you are lucky enough to do it on a beautiful day - looking at a calm and peaceful lake, spending time with someone you love - not saying a word.
I think that Scruffy is smarter than she lets on ;-)

It's a beautiful day outside and I'm hot so I'm in for a break, twitch  break. Deciding to clean my office. I like it when it's clean.  So do my girls - who hand out with me during the week - it can get crowded in here.
Boy oh boy am I glad we cancelled cable a couple of years now!  We really spend time together and get stuff done. So not a work day but a day to clean up little stuff (always something) Norm does not like to sit or his shoulder gets sore and stiff - he hurt it a few weeks ago. To the point  that we are giving serious consideration to -NO HALLOWEEN this year. Oh my gosh. My brain can not quite comprehend that - neither can Norm's.
But ... what do you do? I am cleaning my office , dreaming and drawing. My first official boat toon to be posted tomorrow. Drawn with TLC.
Found this one above - I love . I drew it in 2010. I had the studio and was teaching kids. I LOVED that. I miss them. Little creative beings - they inspire me very much- they don't give a poop! They taught me to love glitter all over again!
Anyhow I had it on the studio wall, I wanted to teach them  T.V. in - ZOMBIE out.
I made them touch it & read it out loud. I also had a LB one to rub his belly for luck . I told Norm I wish I had the money I would open up a store. It sells affordble supplies and teaches kids art. ALL things art! One day ... One day I'll be able to open an entire art school and part of the program will be the kids have to travel and teach those less fortunate art! How cool would that be.
Think about it - we live our life visually. It is our eyes that see the words. Our eyes that see something that brings us to act. Many are illiterate - yet they get through life- I suck at spelling - I had to look up illiterate! LOL But ... what do you do? Do I stop because you sit there and judge me for my spelling . Nope.
You do what you must. Hopefully always with LOVE in your heart.  It is easy for me to be angry - but I prefer to work daily at being nice. For me. It makes me feel better.
I hope they share this on FB. The message more important than Cannabis really.
Back to cleaning - happy to be cleaning. Happy to be breathing ;-D

For everyone that embraces this plant - has educated themselves on this plant and all it's GOODness - medicinal, Hemp, Oil, Food, building material and MORE- That continue to fight for this plant and our rights as humans - It's time for a group hug! I know how frustrating it can be, feeling like your banging your head against a brick wall, wondering is anyone listening???
So today I thought,  let's take time for a group hug! Support each other, encourage and just celebrate the Plant! Thank each other!  I feel it in the air change is around the corner!!
But for just today- Enjoy Cannabis and all it does and for all of us, millions around the world.
NOW that is a GROUP HUG!!

Not sure if it is because I am tired, physically or mentally but the past few days I'm having trouble shaking this feeling of  "...this is just absurd."  Cannabis & the crap I read.
HOW do people still think it kills you? As for saying we need more scientific research
- 'o' deaths in over 5,000 years - Uummmmm - IS THAT not scientific research enough?
Changing rules, telling lies, arresting sick humans, Telling MILLIONS around the world what they can and cannot do with a plant or our own bodies is just insane. It is malicious.
It will never be controlled, people will continue to suffer and other problems that are more serious go by the wayside.
Like the fact that some nut can legally buy GUNS and ammo, walk into a theatre and kill people. World Hunger, poverty, child abuse, Human trafficking, DEADLY drug abuse and animal abuse are all very important - just to name a few!
More important than the distraction that we are all dealing with - Cannabis.  We are forced to deal with it because some see it as a MONEY MAKER - and want to be in control of that money. They do not want us to grow our own - they cannot make any MONEY that way.
Instead of just letting us  be happy and heal with what God put on this earth for ALL of us, we are FORCED to live this stress, fight this battle.

So I ask myself.. How many are we? Why are we still putting up with this ?

Watched a great documentary yesterday I am Fishead.
http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/i-am-fishead-are-corporate-leaders-psychopaths/
And they end that doc. by asking - HOW many are we?
We forget that.

Homemade popsicles! Could it be easier or better for you? My guys fly through popsicles - pretty much sugar and water so I recently went out and bought those popsicle makers we all had as kids only $2.00.
I make fresh popsicles every morning , so far the base has mostly been WATERMELON! YUM!  Watermelon and what ever other fruit I have on hand - in the blender - a bit of honey (the guys prefer them a little sweeter) and that is that!
After diner we have refreshing,  ALL natural and healthy popsicles.
Well then it hit me .. hmmmmmmmm  Someone provided me with a medicated sweetener that they make, I love it I use it in tea and have played a bit with it on other things, toast etc.. BUT the other day I decided to add the sweetener to the popsicles to make Storm some medicated treats!
They turned out terrific * although I did use Kiwi and they were a little 'tart' .  Below my step by step - although it is pretty easy - the recipe below I make green tea and Kiwi popsicles (I wanted them healthy). It is nice to have several options - I wish I had known this when he was little.. would have been much easier than forcing him to take that bubblegum flavored pain medicine - that he usually gagged up.  Oh well- Now I know! Try watermelon and blue berries or strawberries!
My sweetener came from a woman who said I could add her e mail address.
She does supply to medical patients.

My mom returned from vacation and brought me a gift she thought I might enjoy. She was right.
Buddha Board:
http://www.buddhaboard.com/
Let Go!
The buddha board is not about detail it is about creation, fun and letting go. When I tried to do a detailed drawing ... well by the time I was at one side the other was drying! LOL
- It forced me to KEEP it simple. It is also hard to resist. I have mine on my back deck and all who see must try.  You do NOT have to be an artist! Yet everything you draw has that oriental flair to it!
I try daily to get rid of Stuff.  I have enough stuff but I can say I love this gift, I use it all the time and it is just as much fun to watch your drawing magically disappear as it was drawing it. It forces me to relax as I watch it fade - turning into other ideas as it goes.
Below are my photos of my Buddha board as it faded. It is a gift for all ages IMO, I will keep it with a camera so guests can take a photo of their creation.  So perhaps you know someone who needs to  relax with a little zen..   xox <><

I love crafts! I do them all the time and with places like Pin - the ideas  are flowing. I use to have a studio and taught crafts to kids for years and I miss it - so, I thought: Hey ! You have people who enjoy your drawing lessons - do a few craft lessons!  So this is it my first! One a month! Key word 'Let's get crafty'!
I keep in mind cost! I want  my crafts to be fun and affordable and once you do it - if you decide to take it up a knotch - that's up to you.
There is no limit to what your heart considers art.
JUST do it- there is no such thing as perfection. Let go, have fun and express yourself with art!  This is my first idea- I am hoping to get a few magazines on board - it's not always about the bowl and the bong - it's about what Cannabis does for relaxing and being creative.  Please send me your photos if you get crafty!

Question? Idea? Want to see this is your magazine?
    E me here:

Fishing is so much more for me than the fish. LOL - I already giggle at that thinking Storm would say - Its all about the fish.  My boy loves to fish!  We went out yesterday - a BEAUTIFUL day on lake Simcoe!  We were out from about 3 to sundown. We laugh, talk, have snacks.. Storm fishes and I draw and take photos ;-)  I have had quite a bit on my mind the past couple of weeks. Stress higher than normal  yet- to sit there on that boat. Forced to just sit and see and listen - it overtakes you and al I could see after only a short while was all the beauty God provides us to see all the time - we just have to remember to look.
When he first said he was getting a boat - I was a typical mom -- sigh.. oh, oh..  after yesterday watching him  get it in and out of the water and taking me on a tour of lake Simcoe, I now think- Thank you!  Thank you!  I loved every second of yesterday - including the water splashing us - cause I think he was driving a little too fast! (lol) The photos are in order and our day ended perfectly! With a gorgeous sunset and a Bass to boot!  Let go after the photo of course.  I'm looking forward to our next boat adventure! xox <><
